Janete Ashton has been a passionate amateur photographer ever since, commited to catch the essence of landscapes, cities and other interesting things which caught her eye.
With more than 35 years of experience in photography, Janete decided to move on making professional work with focus on landscapes and cities, a consequence of a lifetime travelling to countries and places she wanted to know and to picture.
Her work is not the result of study or preparation, rather than intuitive feeling and sense for beauty and expression. She has an uncanny ability to capture the essential beauty and shape of nature and places, landscapes and urban environments.
